Dr Ming S. Liu is a leading expert in gas processing, power-to-hydrogen/gas (PtH2/PtG) and CCUS technologies and engineering. He is also an innovative entrepreneur devoted to renewable microgrid development and management. Prior to founding DIMER, Dr Liu was a Senior Scientist and Project Leader at CSIRO (the National Lab of Australia). He also held the prestigious Honorary Fellowship from CSIRO. Dr Liu was awarded his PhD in Materials Physics from The University of Melbourne and BSc in Physics from Peking University.

Dimer has been devoted to developing novel technologies and engineering solutions for hydrogen processing (blue hydrogen), power-to-hydrogen (green hydrogen and ammonia), CCUS and co-generation renewable microgrids. In this talk, Dr Liu will discuss, on behalf of Dimer and Peric Hydrogen, the up-to-date progress in the development of large size electrolysis system, with a focus on alkaline-based electrolysers and commercially operational green hydrogen plants in both Australia and China.
