The Portsmouth and Southampton Member Group warmly invites you to an in-person networking event.

Open to everyone in the region, this event is an excellent opportunity to connect with peers across industries, sectors and career stages.

The session will be an informal networking event, beginning with a brief introduction from members of the Portsmouth and Southampton Member Group committee. This will be followed by opportunities for group discussions on topics such as IChemE member experiences, career journeys, and routes to Technician, Chartership and Fellowship.

Hampshire is home to a diverse range of professionals working across varied roles and sectors. This event offers opportunity to learn more about the work taking place locally and to expand your professional network. We look forward to welcoming you.

Speaker

Nuno Bimbo, Portsmouth and Southampton Member Group Chair

Nuno is a Chartered Chemical Engineer and associate professor in chemical engineering at the University of Southampton. He researches porous materials, gas storage, separations and hydrogen technologies, and teaches core engineering modules. He is a passionate about building a strong, successful chemical engineering community in Hampshire and inspiring the next generation through outreach.
