Adamu is a process engineer with a PhD in chemical engineering, specialising in refining operations, petroleum product storage and transportation, cargo handling, and terminal operations. His academic foundation and professional experience has equipped him with strong technical expertise in process optimisation, safety management, and sustainable energy practices.

Adamu is currently engaged in refining and terminal operations, where he contributes to improving efficiency, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and advancing sustainability initiatives within the energy sector. His role involves integrating innovative engineering solutions to enhance operational reliability and reduce environmental impact.

In the past, he has rendered services through active participation in technical meetings, knowledge-sharing sessions, and collaborative projects aimed at advancing best practices in petroleum refining and logistics. He has also contributed to professional development activities, mentoring younger engineers and supporting initiatives that align with the Institution’s mission of fostering growth, innovation, and sustainability in the industry.
